Piper Hill School with artists Nicola Smith and Jessica Longmore
12 – 22 December
Late night opening 14 December, 5.30-7.30pm
As part of our on-going education programme, Start, artists’ Nicola Smith and Jessica Longmore have been working with Piper Hill School to create their own curious creatures in response to our previous residency artist, Luke Ching. As part of Luke’s residency, he became particularly intrigued by our Manchester based Pigeons and their city living habits. He also decided to take a closer look into some of our more historical animal specimens at the Manchester Museum! Now it is Piper Hill’s turn to look into some interesting animals, old and new. We can’t wait to see animals come to life within the residency space.
