Chinese Arts Centre is supporting Buy Art Fair, Manchester’s newest art event to be hosted at Urbis 9-12 October 2008. A wide range of galleries from around the world will be showing work from an array of artists. If you have a small or large art collection or want to start one then Buy Art Fair is definitely a date to add to your calendar there will be something there to suit every budget.
Capturing the prevailing mood of life in China today, My China Now is a collection of 33 short documentaries, animations, art house films and features that are to be screened for the first time in the UK. The collection is being screened in the Tea House at Chinese Arts Centre throughout June and July 2008 as part of CHINA NOW, the UK’s largest ever festival of Chinese culture.
